We have launched a new connection solution for CPVC pipe systems, offering more choice to consultants, contractors and end users.
Providing a simple and cost-effective way to connect imperial and metric CPVC pipework systems, our new Corzan CPVC metric / imperial socket adapter has been specially developed as a result of customer feedback.
With limited options available to connect a new metric CPVC system to an existing imperial CPVC pipe network, the only current way to join two different sized pipes is with a stub flange connection, which is time and cost intensive. The ideal solution, our new adapter socket, can be solvent welded, enabling a reliable joint to be made quickly and easily between two CPVC pipe systems.
Our Corzan CPVC socket adapter is available in sizes from ⅜” to 3” and 16mm to 90mm and complements our existing range of metric / imperial socket adapters in other materials such as SuperFLO ABS and PVC-U.
Commenting on the new product development, our industrial brand manager, Rich Pedley, said: “Our SuperFLO ABS and PVC-U metric / imperial adapters are very successful and a CPVC version is something we are increasingly being asked for, as customers are struggling to find an effective way to connect existing imperial systems to new metric pipework when undertaking refurbishment or expansion works.”
“Our new Corzan CPVC socket adapters are simply solvent welded so it is quick and easy for contractors to install a new metric system onto an existing imperial network, providing much more choice and flexibility when specifying new pipework systems. The range expansion means we can now offer a full portfolio of solutions to connect imperial and metric pipework in a variety of materials.”
