Our SuperFLO ABS pipe and fittings have been utilised within an expansion project at an automotive manufacturing facility in Poland.
HUF Polska, a leading supplier of components for car locking systems to the global automotive industry, has undergone an extension to its manufacturing facility in Tychy, Poland. The new production hall houses an automatic paint coating unit and required a reliable pipework system to convey process water around the building.
The manufacturer turned to trusted distributer BS4, which recommended Durapipe SuperFLO ABS as the most appropriate system for the project requirements. As a result, our SuperFLO ABS pipe and fittings in sizes 40mm – 315mm were installed by Dorbud to transport process water around a closed circuit pipe network within the new facility.
Specifically developed to convey chilled and boosted cold water, SuperFLO ABS was the ideal solution for this application, not only due to its performance characteristics, but its quick and easy jointing technique reduced labour time and costs during the installation process.
Commenting on the project, Katarzyna Zmarz from BS4 said: “It was important, for this project, that we selected a pipework system that could be trusted to safely convey process water without fear of corrosion and Durapipe SuperFLO was the ideal solution. In addition to the performance characteristics, the pipe also offered benefits during the installation stage due to its quick and easy jointing technique.”
A pipework system specifically designed to cater for chilled and boosted cold water applications, Durapipe SuperFLO ABS offers a reliable and cost-effective solution. Its durable material sees the pipework remain ductile in temperatures down to -40°C, while its limescale and corrosion resistant properties significantly reduce maintenance requirements. With its lightweight nature and easy solvent weld jointing technique reducing labour time and cost, Durapipe SuperFLO ABS offers a superior alternative to steel options.
