A brief history of Durapipe follows:-

1954
Durapipe and Fittings Ltd is formed in West Drayton and moves into the emerging thermoplastic industry

1972
Durapipe re-locates to Cannock, Staffs and begins manufacturing from the current site

1981
Glynwed purchases Durapipe and other international companies and Glynwed International is named

1986
Certified to ISO9001 (previously BS5750)

1999
Certified to ISO14001 (previously BS7750)

2001
Etex purchases Glynwed Pipesystems

2003
Aliaxis Group formed
